MFES - Advice for School Leavers
School leavers wishing to pursue a career in forest science are advised to enrol in the New Generation University of Melbourne Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Environments courses.
Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Science are encouraged to undertake a major in one of the following areas:
Environmental Science
Plant Science
Agricultural Science
Ecology and Evolutionary Biology
Geography
Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Environments are encouraged to undertake a major one of the following areas:
Environmental Science
Landscape Management
Environmental Geographies, Politics and Cultures
* Progression to the MFES is possible via the Bachelor of Biomedicine, Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Arts. Graduates from these degrees may be required to undertake a bridging course depending on their undergraduate subject selection.
