Subject teaching mode - Master of Forest Ecosystem Science
Subjects offered in the Master of Forest Ecosystem Science will be taught in intensive mode. This involves two consecutive weeks of face-to-face teaching on campus. Students will be provided with reading materials in the weeks leading up to the 2 week period and will be expected to complete assessments in the weeks afterwards, as indicated in the table below. Dates for teaching of all MFES subjects in 2008 and 2009 are posted on the 'Study Dates' page.
Subjects taken from elsewhere at the University of Melbourne or at another institutuion may be taught in regular (weekly lectures) or intensive mode. All subjects offered at other institutions as part of the National Forestry Masters Program will be taught in intensive mode.
