Students who accept a Commonwealth supported place do not have to pay their contribution fees immediately (unless they have a permanent residency visa). Students may repay their loan through the tax system once their income is above the minimum threshold for compulsory repayment. This loan is known as HECS-HELP. Discounts may be available for upfront payments.
